About Zed

Zed is a shadow assassin who deletes vulnerable targets through layered mark damage, sharp timing, and unpredictable angles created by his living shadows. He is terrifying when he controls distance and cooldown windows, but he is much easier to punish when he uses his shadows too early or commits onto a target with no safe route back out.

Great Zed players treat Living Shadow as both offense and escape, placing it where the second half of the play will happen instead of only where the burst begins. Weak Zed play ults the first carry in sight, throws shadows into obvious lines, or misses the timing on Death Mark by failing to overlap shuriken and slash damage before the return threat arrives.
