Ekko is a burst skirmisher-assassin who dives in with high mobility, threatens area control with his parallel convergence, and rewrites failed fights with Chronobreak. He is incredibly slippery when his timing is sharp, but he is fragile before his reset and loses a lot of pressure when his setup is telegraphed or mistimed.

Strong Ekko players place Parallel Convergence where the fight will arrive, then use Phase Dive and movement to make the stun or shield feel unavoidable instead of hopeful. Weak Ekko play wastes Chronobreak as a panic escape with no value, dives before passive and cooldowns line up, or throws his W so late that the threat never shapes enemy movement.
