Viego is a reset skirmisher who carves through fights with possession chains, sharp burst on isolated targets, and constant threat once the first takedown lets him start body-hopping. He is deadly in messy engagements where kills happen quickly, but he is vulnerable before resets and can become useless if he dives too early and dies before his passive takes over.

Strong Viego players hold Spectral Maw and Harrowed Path until they create a real access angle, then choose possessions based on what the next body gives the fight instead of automatically taking every reset. Weak Viego play commits to the first target in sight, possesses without reading the surrounding danger, or wastes Heartbreaker as raw damage when it was needed for repositioning or execution timing.
