Pick Nami when your team wants a support that can pressure lane early while still scaling into strong peel and pick support later. She fits especially well beside aggressive marksmen and comps that value short-trade tempo around bot priority. Nami also makes sense when the enemy lane struggles to punish her for stepping forward to harass and heal.
How to Counter Nami Strategy
Do not give Nami free windows to cast empowered autos and Ebb and Flow without trading back meaningfully. Hard engage after she spends her first wave of utility is often stronger than trying to outpoke her forever. In teamfights, attacking from multiple angles can make it harder for her to line up bubble, peel, and tidal disengage cleanly.
